In memory of Jane French Madison
When Jesus was baptized at the Jordan River, the gospels tell us "As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.
Jane French Madison, daughter of Mary Willie Gause and Terence Evans French, was born April 1932 in Atmore, Alabama. After her marriage to Charles Norman Madison in February 1957, Mrs. Madison worked in a doctor’s office. She and her husband had three children: Charles Scott, Jane and Ann.
